Yassa Poulet is a dish made from a lemon base onion and chicken sauce. It is served with rice. The yassa can be cooked also with mouton and with fish.

INGREDIENTS (FOR 6)
A chicken of 1.5 kg
1 kg of onions
Pepper: 10 gr of dry and fresh pepper
3 tablespoonfuls of peanut oil
1 clove of garlic – Salt, pepper
1- Empty the chicken, clean and cut it into pieces, flame it and put it in a bowl.
2- Cut onions and garlic into thin slices over the chicken. Pour lemon juice over it before adding salt and pepper.
3- Marinate for a period between 20 minutes and one hour.
4- Remove the chicken from the pot, grill over charcoal or fry to your liking.
5- In a pot, heat the oil and cook some onions.
6- Add water and let it simmer for half an hour (1/2h).
7- Pour the rest of the seasoning (marinade).
8- Serve with white rice.
