Bouye

Bouye is prepared using baobab fruit that is known generally as “monkey bread”.  

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g of Bouye

  • 300 g of powdered sugar

  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar

  • 1 teaspoonful of pineapple or vanilla

  • 2 tablespoonfuls of orange flower

  • 1 pinch of grated nutmeg

PREPARATION

  • Rinse the baobab fruit and soak it in water for at least 1h

  • Remove the seeds using a kitchen sieve to extract the juice

  • Dilute the milk

  • Sweeten and add flavor with vanilla sugar, nutmeg and orange flower

  • Serve chilled
