Ditakh (Detariumsenegalensis)

Ditakh is a tropical fruit with a large stone, covered with fibers and some flesh that is green in color. This fruit can be eaten as it is or used to make juice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1kg of ditakh

  • 500 g of powdered sugar

  • 3 sachets of vanilla sugar

  • 2 tablespoonfuls of orange flower

PREPARATION

  • Peel the fruit to remove the shell

  • Soak in water for several hours, then press the fruits to remove the pulp.

  • Recover the juice using a kitchen sieve

  • Sweeten and add flavor to the juice with nutmeg and the orange flower

  • Serve chilled
